Borderless Homes

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This privacy policy explains what personal data Borderless Homes (borderlesshomes.com) collects, why, and what your rights are. Borderless Homes is run by Chris Wyatt. If you have a question about this policy or your data, please contact us.

What data we collect

  • Contact form: when you send a message through our contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your device, browser, approximate location and pages viewed.
  • Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP addresses and browser types for security and performance.

We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t use it for anything other than the purposes in this policy.

Why we use your data

  • To reply to messages you send us (based on your request and our legitimate interest in answering it).
  • To measure and improve the site (based on our legitimate interest, or your consent where the law requires it).
  • To keep the site secure and working.

Cookies

The site uses cookies set by Google Analytics (such as _ga) to tell visits apart, and functional cookies needed for the site to work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.

Who we share data with

We use service providers to run the site: our web host (Hostinger) and Google (Google Analytics). They process data on our behalf. Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area, under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep data

We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and then delete them. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, contact us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
